Good news everyone! (Channeling my inner 'Professor')

Applied for the Amex Skymiles Platinum almost five minutes ago, through Amex's card offer section. I had to click apply and then I found out if I was pre-approved.

I elected to view my card number before getting it in the mail and quickly saw a '$2,000' mentioned somewhere in the forms. So I thought that wasn't a bad starting limit, then I looked closer and saw my SL was $15,000 and my cash advance line was $2,000... 😃

Weirdly enough I've been stuck at $1,000 from my initial SL on the gold skymiles for 8 months. Then Amex does a 15x increase for a new card... ha! Just got my 35,000 bonus miles for meeting minimum spend on my gold card as well. Time for the Cap One Venture and now the Delta Platinum!
