Yep i apped and was denied. Called twice and practically was told that i should just stop trying fkr the CSP
.
So i went to buy something for my car and found it on amazon and decided to app for the store card (thanks Chase!) And was instantly approved for 1k. Lol
Sorry to hear you didn't qualify; however, the CSP is a higher-level tier CC. Looking at your signature, it would seem you have sufficient credit lines. So, why the CSP? Would you benefit from spending annually anywhere from $30-$40k to warrant having the card in the travel or dining categories or for what its targeted?
Good luck with that then!

The $30K-$40K is the minumum average (or recommended) annual spend on the CSP to maximize the return on the UR, partner and rewards program thereby offsetting the annual fee for having this product. I believe other posts have mentioned a similar consensus with regard to maximizing the use of the CSP. While no individual is required to have that level of spending just to have/carry the CSP (most only acquire it just as mentioned above - just to have it); it would seem pointless to have an annual fee structured product without maximizing the benefits or for its intended purpose, but to each their own.

Guess I need to see some updated comparison math, as it's not hard for even me to make up a $95 AF on the CSP's rewards structure, though there are other cards which from a rational rewards perspective may make more sense.
I also value minimizing the number of cards I need to carry, and restaurant and no forex is an easy one for me, the travel bonuses are just frosting on the cake.

just to confirm you got the Amazon Visa right, as the store card is issued by GE

You're not the one who needs to redo their math. I spend half that and with the travel benefits from CSP (along with transfers from my freedom) will EASILY pay for the annual fee. I think that people who make claims like that must not have a CSP or have no idea how to use UR points effectively.
