Discover used to be pretty serious about not giving CLIs in less than a year of getting the card. I'd read that some people were starting to get them in less time, so at about 5 months, I starting asking every month. I got an increase at about 7 months . . . and another one at 8 months, and another one at 10 months. I may or may not have posted about the first one or two of those, I can't remember for sure and I'm too lazy to search right now.
Dec 4 SL $2000
Jul 20 CLI to $4500
Aug 28 CLI to $6500
Oct 7 CLI to $7500
I've been putting a couple grand per month on the card since I'm in the double bonus, getting 10% in the bonus categories and 2% on everything else for the first year, it's my go-to card for most things. Making large (for me) payments. I guess they like me.

Congrats on the Disco CLi
Great results - ride it til it stops. Disco definitely does seem to play favorites with people so take advantage of her goodwill!
That is a great move up for the first year, grats on getting it done!!
Congrats on your Discover CLI's success

Congrats on your Discover cli!
Hi @mgood
Did your score or profile change in those months?
HPs; Charge-Offs, collections that fell off
Congratulations on your Discover CLIs!

Change, yes. Better or worse right now, I'm not sure. I paid down balances from around 30% utilization to under 2% and my scores shot up. But I've been on a bit of a spending spree lately and the scores have come back down to close to where they were. I did get other cards with much higher limits during that time, so maybe Disco looked at that and decided it was safe to give me more. The only installment loan I had when I first got the card was almost paid off, so it looked really good. Since then that account has been paid off and I have a new loan, which I've paid down very little, so that doesn't look as good. The only negative I had on my account was a 30-day-late that fell off somewhere around December-January, IIRC.
