The SavorOne is pretty much brand new. I just got it in....March or April, I can't recall for sure. That CLI was nearly a month ago and yeah it has been getting good use since I got the card. It is actually the biggest CLI I've ever gotten out of CapOne, as my other cards with them were bucketed starter cards.
As for Discover... It really only gets much use in the latter half of the year, when Paypal/Restaurants and then Amazon/Target/Walmart/Whatever are in their categories. For some reason, $500+$500 is about all they've been willing to give me each time. I suspect I'll get another similar increase from them in either December or January and then I'll probably get 6-8 months of denials before anything else as the card won't be seeing much use in the interim.

As I noted in another reply, that card is newer. I got it in either March or April, I can't recall for sure and that increase was a few weeks back. It has been my primary card for a lot of things until recently with the addition of the Active Cash for 2% everything, Discover's 5% restaurant/paypal quarter, and a BCE->BCP upgrade. Since those have happened, my SavorOne usage has fallen off quite a bit.

Basically you request and accept an increase online and then, *on the same day*, call them and ask if there's anything else they can do to increase it more. I don't have a link to a thread, unfortunately.
