I applied for the Discover IT Card (declined) on 12/31/13. Maybe they're pulling from that information, since they would have already had the HP on file?

I would call. I had a lot better luck speaking with credit analysts.

When I always check my online account and see the request CLI, there is always a msg stating that this will promp a credit reivew... I have never tried it ....
