Hit the luv button and got a Discover CLI tonight ... all the way from $800 to $1,200. Well, at least it's something ;-) They are SOOOOOO stingy!

Congrats, but remember soft pull CLI's are never stingy, Imagine if you had a Chase card and took a HP and only got $1,200 you'd feel a little different. Soft pull CLI's are great, Congrats again.

I know it's not exactly what you wanted, but from a 'numbers' perspective it's a full 50% more than what you had before, so it's nothing to sneeze at! I suspect from here on out your increases will be more generous!

I see a 50% increase as pretty strong. If only I could get that kind of increase on all my requests. I scoffed at a $500 increase on my Discover, simply because after 16 months with the card, I felt a 6% increase was weak. From a numbers standpoint, I like your $400 increase better than the $500 I was offered on my $8.4k limit card.
