Thanks @bruisedcredit! I had the same issue with them on my old IT card -- "24.99% was approprirate according to my profile" is what they said, so I closed it and moved on. Now they can eat it ![]()

Thanks @Birdman7! I read somewhere that the feds dropped the rate and saw a post where someone saw an auto reduction of their APR as well so you could see it just show up.
@Mahraja, I have full plans to blow this card up and hopefully I can get it up to $20k at some point. I’d be please with just reaching $15k. The highest I ever hit with a Disco Card was $8k and that took 3 years, but with this one starting at $6.5 I could see very different results — fingers crossed!
IMO it will take awhile to grow this card as you like me have alot of credit and people with alot of credit discover grows very slow with despite score or income. Just use it for the double cash for first year when suitable and what you get from the growth is just gravy on tops, but dont expect the 5-7 cli's like you see from some others as you are most likely "bucketed" into alot of credit bucket vs. not alot of credit bucket that gets alot more growth. Just a post someone with a bk 1 year ago got a 15k SL.. Makes you shake you head, but Discover wants to be their main squeeze i suppose and willing to take the risk with said person
