Discover IT Card

Wow... I was just approved for the Discover It cards. with a SL of $6,500.

Though the SL is not what I expected I'll accept what they've given.

How long should I wait before I request a CLI?

I really don't plan to use this card.

Many get CLIs very early, most have to wait 3 months.

I would normally say go for it whenever you see the link, but this new rash of IV requests has me being far more cautious with Disco.

Question though.... why get the card if you really have no plans on using it?

....or rather, why would they give you a credit limit increase if you don't use the card?

You were just looking for a balance transfer card. ( https://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/Credit-Cards/I-need-a-balance-transfer/m-p/5868646 )  Now you have one. Click on balance transfer in your account and they should offer you 0% for 9-12 months. yemv.
