I got in for being a student but cannot get a CLI. I think that card is going to be stuck at $500 forever.

Taoron,
When did you get your Discover (student) card? Your other cards and credit lines look great. Discover is an odd one at times.

April 2015. I've never had a late payment, etc. The reasons they list: "Bankruptcy, no recent installment loan information"

| Total CL: $321.7k | UTL: 2% | AAoA: 7.0yrs | Baddies: 0 | Other: Lease, Loan, *No Mortgage, All Inq's from Jun '20 Car Shopping |

I received CLI's on my Discover 3 months after approval, then another 3 months, then five months. But, reading these forums, there seems to be many who get increases much more often. I guess it really depends on your credit profile, your usage, your util, your income, your payment history, if you have baddies that they're still watching, and so on. For me, I still have baddies from 2009 that will be dropping off my CR 's in July, Aug and Sept. I never filed BK, so I have no public records.
But, DH's Chap 7 was d/c in 7/14. His scores have recovered so quickly (with some in the low 700's now), that when Discover did open their doors to him, they gave him a cl of $4K (my cl at approval was $800). He was approved on 4/22, and since it's only a sp (they'll let you know if it's not), he'll be hitting the luv botton just about 31 days after his approval, which will be coming up soon.
Hope this helps, Op!
