Discover It CLI (About Time )

I have had my Discover It card since Jan 2013 and i have asked for a CLI about 6 times over the year and everytime they wanted to do a HP and i would say NO. So about 2 weeks ago i open a Discover bank account and put 10K Saving. So last week i hit the luv button and they gave me a $4500 SP CLI. I don't know if opening the savings account help or not but i got what i wanted

You may have stumbled on a good strategy for CLI's. Keep that $10k liquid and float it around as necessay to get CLI's.
