Discover It Cash Back Approval!

First and foremost, I'm so ****ing excited. Long story short, I've been rebuilding my report for the last 2 years and have very tiny credit lines with 4 banks, US Bank, Discover, Target and Cap 1. Well, for the hell of it I decided to submit a preapproval for a second Discover Cash Back card and got preapproved for both that card and the Chrome card. Did some reading and found out the preapprovals are pretty solid with Discover so I went for the full app. BAM! $4,000 CREDIT LINE INSTANT APPROVAL. DISCOVER I LOVE YOU. Got my first Discover card back in October of last year and I PIF each month. Started at $500 and they increased me to $1000 in about 5 months from that.

I was just reading @AverageJoesCredit 2nd Discover card thread. I read the whole thread to try to find out some information; what does DSC consider one year. I only found one comment about it. Your data point suggest you don't actually have to hit the open date to count as one year. 12 calendar months it seems.

btw where you also preapproved for the travel card or just the Chrome and Cash Back?
