It did take me 14 months to get the first CLI. Funny thing about that is i open a Discover Saving account and put 10k >>>> about 2 weeks later is when i got my first SP CLI after about 6 or 7 tries.
I can play the waiting game with discover ,my freedom can handle Christmas shopping duties if it gets 5% again this year. My it is barely making it into my wallet as it is😆
Trust me your Discover will come around

While we are on topic of discover CLI. On the website says I can't initiate another CLI until the one I initiated is complete.its been like that the last few weeks. Do you know what is the cause of that. If I do try and call discover number for CLI they need an HP so sad.

That was the same thing that happen for 14 months 
Just keep trying every few months like i did.Also i keep saying no to the HP's if you don't want the HP

I am an little sensitive about taking any HP this year. I want to be 100% sure I am in good shape for when I apply for Sallie Mae and amex fidelity,since both I believe are HP for CLI. Funny thing is the sp me every month since I have had the card. I wonder what they are looking for 😀

All i had to do was click on the link ( after i called discover to make sure it was real ) logged into my Discover account and it was open in about 2 mins
