Is the card recommendation that shows up in the discover scorecard a good indication of being approved for that card? When I try to "pre-qual" for their cards it just comes back with the standard "how does your credit stack up?" and says apply now for the IT - unsecured card. However on the scorecard screen it tells me that the secured card can help me improve my credit. I'm waiting to see if my lien is removed or I can at least get it updated to released before I do anything, but I'm just trying to have my info together. Thanks
