Hi all. Just thought I'd share my experience. I have the Discover IT card since Jan 2020 with 13 months of 0%. I was originally approved for $7000. The card has been maxed out from about July 2020, recently paid it in full in March before the 0% promotion was up.
Card cycled with a 0 balance in March. April I used about $1200 and paid $500.
Tonight to my surprise I received an email from Discover saying they automatically increased my CL to $9500!! I did some looking around on this site and read that if you request an increase right after the auto increase you will get approved. Since Discover does soft pulls for their increase I said hey why not... sure enough went to their app to request and got another $1500. So now my CL is $11000. $4000 increase in total.
