My 6th statement will be April 14th

My 6 month anniversary isn't until April 30th. 

Account opened on Oct 30th

First staement cut on Nov 12th. 

So 6 months or 6 statements?   hahaha.

Yep.. 6 statements. A very nice woman called me "hon" and said after the sixth statement, they can raise it for me! :-)

Haha yw! I must have called them at least three times to ask about a cli!

I have about 2-3 weeks too. I hoooooope they have a sp cli available. I will absolutely NOT take a HP although my CR is in pretty good shape right now.

From everything I have read it seems to be far better to initiate the CLI with Discover over the phone. I have read too many stories about the online CLI request going bad.

I wish you guys all the sucess possible...I am following! my account hits 6 months on 04/17 but I need to wait until 06/02 for my 6th statement cut ..agree with online being a bit delicate so I will also consider the phone as I absolutely will not take a HP for this either. Curious to see how you will be doing

Yeah, I like speak to ppl when I req clis... Online systems suck and your mileage varies much less when you can request with a person! Lol

Yah, but the frontline agents at Discover are just as useless as the automated phone system.  

My acct just passed the 1yr mark so I tried for a CLI via the telephone system but it  transferred me to an agent because they "needed more information".  Long story cut short, the agent asked me all the exact same questions as the automated system then came back with a denial for reasons unknown.  He said he didn't have access to the exact reason but I should receive a letter in 7-10 days with an explanation.  argh! I can't even press for a recon until I know the reason!
