After trying and trying for the past 5 months (after a $500 increase) Discover gave me a decent increase for my profile anyway. I know many have gotten way more than this, but this is pretty big for me.

Thank you. It's one of my oldest lines (2 years). The cli's came fast and early. Started at 6500 and was up to 12k within 6 months. Those were the good discover days for me.

I closed my Discover IT card after 1 year I had asked for an increase after six months then at a year then kept giving excuses so maybe I should re-apply now to see if they start me off with a higher limit. But Congrats to you on your new limit increase.

I think they are willing to give increases. It's just about how much of an increase. They tend to like usage IMO. I only use mine for the BT option

I am still trying to my first CLI. Started at $1,500 6 months ago.

Keep getting denied for new account and inquiry verbage.

I didn't think they were that sensitive.

In the garden since 02/1/23. Newest Account AU Discover It 10K
