Discover it CLI approved

So I'm bored on a Sunday and realized I'm past due for my next CLI request to Discover. Hit the luv button and BAM! $1100 CLI to $3300 SL. Called to double dip and was denied. CSR stated $1100 was the max I could get right now. He also said to try again in 5 days?? Thought that was odd. Maybe I should've waited until Monday. I'm happy with the CLI though. Some data points on this card...opened in 2014, first approved CLI was in June 2017 $1900 to $2200. Recent APR reduction from 23.74 to 19.99.

Congrats Wedge71 on the new cli and apr redux. When you tried to double dip, did you give the csr the same info you put in the page for cli? Or did the csr just try to see if more was available without you giving any more info? Thsnks and great job

Thanks AJC! I told the CSR I had just been approved online for a CLI and wanted to see if I was eligible for more. He put me on hold for a few minutes, then said $1100 was all I could get right now. I told him I wanted to get to $5000 SL and he said try again in 5 days. I thought that was strange.

Ok, i tried the other day but since it wasnt same day i could of just hulk smashed myself lol. The good thing is you lose nothing by hitting the button again do in 5 days try again and see what happens. If nothing , call them up and demand another cli as the csr told you to try in 5 days. We know csrs are NEVER wrong, right
