Discover "Like", CLI

My Discover card, with an originual $3K CL, cut it's third statement this past Friday.

I woke this morning to find an email about a CLI. Opened it to find that.... "your outstanding credit management in the first year has earned you a credit line increase on your Discover it™ card. The new credit line on your Discover card account is $3,250, of which your cash credit line is $400."

At grand ol' $250 CLI

I'm actually surprised they did anything and anything so quick. I've only run $945 thru the card in three months and of that $545 was in one health insurance payment. This is far and away my lowest CL and with my other cards, especially my BCP for cash back, Delta and Business Gold and the Freedom/CSP combo, the rewards on this card are pretty useless but it gives me a TU score..... and ....a TU score

I guess any luv, or in this case..."like", is better than a kick in the knee....thanks Discover Too funny, made for a nice chuckle over my cup of coffee.

Thanks. Oh, I knew going in with Discover that the CL wouldn't be anything to write home about and I knew their CLIs were happenchance at best Not complaining at all but the warm fuzzy feeling wasn't quite like getting the Amex 3X increase or the recent Chase auto 2X.......

yeah they been smoked by my other lines too making them really low limit now. No cli either without that dreaded HP so be it
