My Low Rate Visa (6.9% fixed) from Dow Credit Union (formerly known as Dow Chemical Employees CU) has been stuck at its initial limit of $10k for the two and a half years I've had it. The CU told me they require a hard pull for CLI requests, so I have never requested one. I rarely use the card. Pretty much just for spend-based offers or an occasional pack of gum.
I received a letter from them today, saying they had increased my CL to $14k, of their own initiative.
The letter also dangled a small holiday themed bonus offer: $25 for 10 transactions of $25 or more. I'm not sure the effort:reward ratio works for me there, but that's OK. The auto CLI is nice.
