It's been a few months so I thought I'd try for SP CLIs on two of my cards.
Instant approvals ... yah!
Easy and quick $3,500 extra credit!
No, I didn't "need" the limits but it's nice
to have the extra UTI padding, of course!
Citi Costco Visa climbed from $30K to $33K ... same $3K increase they gave me a few months ago.
Discover IT Chrome (one of my oldest cards) climbed from $49.5K to $50K!
(I'm wondering if $50K is the maximum line they give on one card?? Does anyone know?)
Very nice, congrats!
Congrats on the CLI's! I'm curious on the Disco limit as well.
Congrats on your Citi and Disco luv!

No , 50k is not max. @EW800 has i believe a 73k Discover and im sure there are others with high limits just not alot frequent MF
Okay, thanks AJC. I'm wondering though ... sometimes a lender has a maximum they will "approve" a type of credit card to be increased to, but then if you close and combine accounts, it seems that sometimes you can exceed that limit? So I'm wondering if maybe those higher limits were from combined and closed accounts? I've done that with some of my other cards, in particular lately with Chase.
Congrats on the CLI's
Yes Miss Disco can go higher... But do realize that your in IV territory (if my memory is correct usually around 40k and up) if you haven't gotten a request already.. But Discovers IV "used" to start with a call to your employer.... But it is rumored there is more thorough IV but not heard of a 4506-T from Discover.. But in general Disco's usually level out for high rollers in the 40-50k range... @EW800 is more the exception, than the norm... But just like Amex.. sometimes the slow route can grow it... if your income/dti support it...

Thanks for those data points!
I may be an anomoly on this card for a few reasons.
(1) It is my oldest currently open card at 26 years.
(2) My income is very high right now (over $350K)
(3) I have paid off five-figure balances with them in the past (BT Offers)
(4) My current DTI is very low except for mortgage.
I've thought of opening a Discover IT MILES card to get the effectively 3% cashback for a whole year of purchases (no spending caps) so wondering if they would give me an additional line (that I could combine later) or if they would steal from this line to approve it.
