I got denied the discover it card online and they said they will send the explanation in the mail. I'm thinking it's because of my credit score at the time was 639 I believe. I'm very new to credit repairing/credit score building and also very new to this forum. I'm unfamiliar with a lot of the language here; some kind of trick to get credit cards that are only soft pulls, gardening, back door number just to name a few lol. Anyone care to explain these to me and to give me advice on what to do about the denial of Discover It card?

Got my card in the mail today! It came packaged in a very classy, little box complete with the credit score I was approved on. I was approved for 6K with a 701. Interestingly, they pulled EX, which was different from the TU that I hear they normally pull. Also, there is a HUGE difference (50+ points) between my CK score and my FICO EX score. Either way, it's nice of Discover to include that in the package!

The free FICO score monthly was the main reason I signed up with them. Congratulations on the large CLI compared to your others, Discover seems to be all over the place with the CL's. I actually am using mine as my everyday card right now, esp with the 5% back on gas Smiley Happy
