It's been a while for me.
I use a simple cash back strategy, so this CC will fit nicely into my lineup. I currently have USBank Cash+ (which caps5% spend @2.k per quarter), and I'm burning it up every month. I plan to pair MCP and Cash+. By doing so I'll get roughly 3.7 to 4.k spending every quarter at 5%. It will look something like:
US Cash+ = 5% Fast Food (Chipotle and Chick fi La are big in my household)
US Cash+ = 5% Streaming/Cable
Elan MCP = 5% Utilities
Elan MCP = 5% Cell Phone
Data Points:
Starting Limit = @$2700 Apr= 14.49. A little disappointed with SL, but no biggie since I AZEO
Current USBank+ CL = 10k. I reconned them, so perhaps I'll try with Elan.
I applied through Atlantic Union Bank. I have no previous relationship with them.
I havent applied for a new credit card since 2018. So I gues that would make me 0/6 0/12 0/24?
1 Inquiry in 2019 for truck loan.
Experian Fico 9 = 850 (Wells Fargo)
Equifax Fico 9 = 850 (Navy Federal)
Vantage 4.0 = 840 (Paypal/Synchrony)
Vantage 3.0 = 830 (Amex/Transunion)
Fico Credit ScoreCard = 825 (Discover)
For whatever those are worth.
Grats on the new approval, quite a feat on your Ficos too
Thank you. When I started lurking here six years ago I was barely above 600 with a 1k Best Buy CC. My wife would always laugh and say I was obsessed myFico forums.
Congratulations on your Elan Max Cash approval!
That's terrific! Congratulations on your approval!! 🎉🥂
Congratulations
Congrats on your approval! Another member was just able to successfully recon their MCP card to a 10K SL with an additional HP, so it's definitely possible! Good luck if you go for it!
Congrats on the approval and it looks like you've got your spend planned out well category wise with those cards.
Congrats!
