Elan SP CLI

Today I called a number I received from this forum for Elan. I asked for an APR reduction, and was granted an APR decrease and was told it required a HP for a CLI.

I continued to push for a SP CLI because in the past they’ve been known for doing such. Eventually, they said another department may be able to do it for me and transferred me to the member relations department, I believe, who was able to process the SP CLI for me. I went from 1K to 5K! Yay! That’s only the second CLI I’ve ever had with them, the first being from 500 to 1000. Been with them since 2012.

Oooh congrats. What number did you call? I need to do this.
I’ve only also gotten one auto increase but stop using the card. If they’d give me another increase then I would put more spend on it.

Birdman7 ... seems that Elan has not been the 'hottest poker in the fire' for most anything! But, you just blew the fire place open with an SP CLI after about seven years with no increase (which sounds about typical for ELAN). NICE! MyFicoer dogged determination!!! You can handle my work any day Might add, you have achieved great FICO Scores too!!!
