For those of you that want a 800+ score , here are the guidelines:  #1  Little or no debt  #2  All payments on time  #3  5 years+ history of credit management  #4 No credit Inq in the last 24 months.  #5  Credit card limits of $5k+  #6  Why do you need a 800+ score?    760 will get you where you want to be.

FICO only looks at 12 months of inquiries.
