I got home a few days ago to a FNBO mailer in my mailbox didn't think much of it as they love to send me things telling me to use my cards anyways I opened and it's a pre approval for an FNBO Visa with a 5.99% interest rate for all balance transferes and 0% for all purchases. I set it down and just thought this has to be a joke at this point but no. I decide to think it over I mean whatever computer at fnbo is sending these offers they really like me. It had opt in opt out on it a fixed apr of 15.99% after the 0% was done and that 5.99% was appealing for a balance I'm carrying on my Discover it's just some furniture I got but hey I plan to pay it off soon. I filled out the application and I just kept on thinking do I really want to do this as it would make me 7/12 on EX. I clicked the button it started spinning and boom! Congrats your approved for $8,500. I have now gotten an FNBO card every month for the past 2 I got one on 07/17 another on 08/08 and now one on 09/19. I can't believe it. I am really scared they are going to shut me down. I see no metiotion of shutdown's but now I don't know if this approval was a good thing. I'm happy I was approved but scared for my future with FNBO. The good thing is my income can support all these cards being maxed and needing a full PIF so if they need 4506-T form or paystubs I can give it to them. An intresting thing I have found is these have all been instant approvals. Does anyone know do they shutdown or what? If they do then maybe i'll call to see if I can cancel the balance transfer so I don't put that balance on the card.

Congrats on the 3rd FNBO approval.
Yes, they are known to CLD and/or shutdown accounts (secondary reviews) if they feel there's a potential risk. Although you don't see it often mentioned on the forums, it has happened.
FWIW, I was approved for 2 of their co-branded cards last year within a month apart. That said, I have an established history with them for about 6+ years.
My suggestion would be that if you get any additional mailers and whatnot, I would hold off so you don't draw any unnecessary attention.
Thanks! Yeah they're a great bank and when I got that Evergreen that 2% and the limit made my Cap One QS and QS1 get the axe!

Funny I see this today, because I just checked my informed delivery and I got something from FNBO too. They denied last spring after getting pre-approved online. Only difference is I'm officially 2 years post-BK.
🤔🤔
Yikes! I won't apply for any other mailers. I hope I don't get shutdown or CLD. Though if I was to choose one I would choose a CLD. I'm going to payoff that balance transfer once it posts and hope they keep seeing me as a good customer!

What co-branded cards do they offer? I knew to this issuer. I thought they only offered the Evergreen Visa Signature.
