FNBO sent me a mailer a couple weeks ago, the second or third in the last year I think. 1% "rewards" card, with a decent 0% period.
Seeing all the others in the invite wave made me curious. No need at all for a 1% card or balance transfer right now, but I'm in a phase of not saying no to a good time pre-selected invites. Applied on the 9th. Got the pending status. Experian inquiry popped on the 10th. Finally got an update email today that it was approved- $8100. A little strange that it'd take a week and then be approved on a bank holiday, but whatever.
FICO8 - 776 according to Amex updating a few days earlier.
AAoA - 3.5y, AoOA - 19y.
15+ cards.
4 Ex inquiries, 3 in December 2020.
Only 1 new account from 2020 was showing. Several others approved in December but weren't showing as of date of application.
<1% UTL.
~$55k income.
I'd hoped for a $10k or higher limit, but I'm happy with $8000. That seems to be around the average for all current accounts.
Congratulations on your approval!!
@Anonymous
Congratulations on your approval! In 6 months you can request for a CLI or sometimes @ the 6 month FNBO will ACLI depending on your credit status.
✊🏾right on!
Congratulations on the approval! 👍
To me it does seem that many people are finding themselves to be approved from these FBNO mailers... I did not receive one so I will continue to exercise patience 👌
Congrats! Sounds like a good deal!
