Preparing to purchase frig and washer/dryer during black friday sales and wanted padding to carry a promo balance over a few months.
My experience, went from $2k-20k in 2 months without making a purchase. Won't ask again until balance is paid (6 mos after purchase).
Aug 25 - App'd online, approval $2000. Immediately called Credit Solutions req'd +8k, approved, CL $10k.
Sep 4 - Rec'd card, set up online mgmt. Opened Chat req'd +5k, approved, CL $15k.
Oct 17 - Hit the luv button req'd +5k, approved, CL $20k.
@AJC, thanks buddy, I appeciate it. You definitely should go for the card, and just order your home improvement stuff. This card has proven to grow far better than Home Depot for more than just me. I’ve essentially pulled a 40x CLI in six months with Lowe’s, while my 13-year-old Home Depot that opened in 2006 at $500 is currently carrying a limit of...$500 😐 And don’t sweat the recent app on this card. When I applied for Lowe’s, I had gotten my Amex Surpass 30 days prior.

DW is stoked for Black Friday - hoping they do the essentially two-for-one sale on the washer/dryer sets they’ve done the last several years. I’ll be there when they open for sure!
