Tread lightly with them in the beginning. They opened me up with an $11.5k limit. After about 2 months I tried to use the card for a $1500.00 purchase and it was declined. I thought it was just a fraud thing but when I called the agent told me that the card was fine but because the account was so new that a charge of that amount would not be approved. Never heard of such a thing.....

Thanks for informing us and hopefully it doesnt happen with us too. What was your usage like before that big charge if you dont mind?

I went shopping at Michael Kors in the first month with this card and bought around $500+ of luggage, but no flags or problem with the charge, just for reference... my SL is 3K

Before this I had not used the card at all. That was my first purchase with the card.

Maybe it was divine intervention stopping me from making an impulse purchase!
