Fidelity Approved

Haven't app'd in a while for a new card and responded to their offer last week.  Was approved for $17.5K SL and will use this to bank the 2% cash rewards into retirement savings. (FYI they pulled Experian)

Recent closures:  USAA Visa 2K (Zero CLIs in 2 years and didn't want to pull trigger on HP)  Wells Fargo Visa 2K (Same Story) Chase Freedom (Never used and transfered my CL to the United Club)  There's more to chop.

Have too many cards and beginning to cull the herd and app when I only see an advantage.

Hope everyone is doing well on here that had helped me over the past 2 years clean up my act.  Thanks!

BarryNTexas did the same thing "culling the herd" starting in April 2016. Could not use all the cards and I did not want to manage them. Good luck as you right size!

Waiting to see if i end up doing the same with NFCU within a year that i had to with PenFed out of the gate.

Probably one of the few in here that has absolutely no patience for HP happy lending techniques only to wind up babying low limits for an extended amount of years.

Been there and done that and not about to go through it again if it can be helped.

Nice work on cutting loose the anchor cards that are only in the way and making room for GROWERS.
