Finally! I'm Approved for an Amex Card!

I've been trying to pre qualify for an Amex card for months. Always denied. I have been doing my research and decided to go for the Delta Skymiles anyway. Instant approval 1k SL!! Experian 661. I'm not a traveler so the miles aren't going to help me much but I'm now in the Amex family. I learned here to apply for other Amex cards the same day because there is no additional pull. Denied for the green and gold cards. Any others I should try for? How much time do I have without another pull? Thanks!

Congrats on your approval!! That $1k shows you just met criteria. I'd not apply for any other Amex until you have some history and better scores.

As mentioned above, DO NOT app for any Amex card for at least or minimum 12 statement dates! You have a "borderline" approval and their system will have to get acquainted with your history so "typically" you won't get approved for any additional apps or CLIs the coming months!

Oh and Congrats on the Delta Gold by the way!

Okay I'm done for a while. I just remembered people saying to apply for other Amex cards right away because you won't get another hp. I'm lucky to get approved for the one and was denied for two others.At least I only did get the one Ex pull. Back to the garden!

Once you have good credit history with them, they typically don't hard pull for future credit card applications. My first one was a HP and my next two were SP.
