It's been a very long time since I've posted to these forums, but I've always stayed in the loop with what the community was going through.
Since my bankruptcy was filed in April 2014, my credit journey has been all over the place. Had sub-prime cards, store cards, and barely any growth or opportunities to get major cards until I got serious about wanting a better credit profile. Better cards starting coming, higher limits and CLIs being given. Utilizing a personal loan from USAA to wipe out debt helped elevate my scores from the mid-600s to the 700s.
After looking at DPs last night that showed two community members getting the Amazon Visa Signature beyond 5/24 (I was 6/24), I said why not? Apple had just given me a $2K increase last night. So, I didn't get the pre-qualification, but applied anyway.
Got the 30 day message. Scoured the Internet and Reddit for what to do next. Found the status line, called, got a 2-week message. Read that this likely means the card is approved. I waited for the email notification, didn't receive anything. This morning, around 9AM, got a call from the Chase Fraud Department and after one simple question ("Did you apply for this?"), the helpful fraud analyst processed the application.
Approved for $7,000!

BK7 still showing up on EQ and EX (TU early excluded back in Sept 2022)
Util: ~5-9% depending on timing of reports

Now that I'm in with Chase, with a card I know I will benefit from as Amazon stays delivering packages to my home because of the wife, I anxiously await my card and begin a great relationship with them. I couldn't have done any of this growth without this wonderful community!
