@Anonymous wrote:Can you please let me know what is the Virtual Wallet account and how to open it up? Also, if someone already have BBVA Credit card account then does we need to open this Virtual Wallet account or any account for that matter with PNC in order to have any credit card with PNC?
PNC's Virtual Wallet Pro product opens 3 no fee accounts for you: Checking, Reserve - is an additional checking account that lets you plan your spending by setting money aside for upcoming expenses, and Growth - a savings account currently paying .50% interest.
Personally I don't get the point of the Reserve account, if want to set money aside for upcoming expenses I put it in Growth and get .50% interest, but you are limited to 6 withdrawals from Growth/Savings per month.
Data points suggest PNC gives preference for credit cards to those who have bank accounts with them. I have checking & Clear Points credit card with BBVA, with PNC's purchase of BBVA expected to close mid 2021 I figure I might as well get started with them.
@12njoyHope you don't mind my butting in your approval thread to explain how PNC's Virtual Wallet works. Congrats again, your hard work & patience paid off. ![]()
But Boo, Hiss they pull Experian. Everyone pulls EX for me, I have 7 inquiries on EX, only 2 on EQ that fall off early next year, and only 1 on TU.
Congrats! My fiance has this card and we love it! 4% back on gas and a nice little SUB is great
