Finally caved in and got a Venture...

Hello all,

After holding out for a very long time, I finally caved in an applied for the Capital One Venture. I was hoping to be one of the lucky few to get approved for a 50k trade line, instead I got approved for a 30k line. I never thought I'd see the day when being approved for 30k would be disappointing! Smiley Wink

Anyone have advice for how to easily hit the 3k spend for the sign up bonus?

NPSL.................$30,000............$28,000.............$20,500............$28,000............$80,000............$19,000............$21,300..............$20,500
Current FICO Score Across All 3: 770+..... GOAL: 800+ Current Utilization: 5%....... Infiniti Financial Auto Loan at 1.9%

Re: Finally caved in and got a Venture...

Congratulations!  I am paying all my bills, groceries and of course tons of business expense on it.  Not carrying balance as it will negate the bonus due to 17.9% APR for me.  But hey, for me, it is my first 10K card after about 8yrs.  So I am not complaining!

What an awesome starting credit line. Especially considering it is Cap1 who has been conservative in the past.
