I wouldn't carry a balance...just let a small balance report every month and then pay in full.
if you have $10,000 in limit off total combined accounts. And charge $5,000 your at 50% debt / credit limits
amounts report once a month and that's 35% of your Fico score.
Ideally is under 5% for the highest scores around 2-3% for most people.
Just make sure no matter how much you spend to pay off 95% of it each week and the utility will be just in the ideal position.
so if you had $1000 $1500 $500 $2500 $4500 credit cards that's $10,000 total and percentage of credit limit you used is utility.

oh ok..so they combine your total CL within all CC's you own? It's not based on each card? So right now my total is 1200(amazon) plus 1000(cap1) plus 1700(discover) ? or the amazon doesnt count?
And what in the world...Pay off 95% each week??
Congrats!!!!!
$1700 CL!!!!!!
That is just awesome!!!!!
Good job!!!!
Now.....
Go app for the Walmart card and we can finish your app spree. We can discuss how to use all your new cards while you are waiting for them to come in the mail.
You can do it!
Good luck!
lol...really? walmart too now??!
I need care credit though. Should I apply for walmart first..then care credit in FEB? Or should I just get the care credit now and no walmart. Seriously..these inq's lol I can NOT get denied for care credit. I need surgery so I have to have it
Yes, I suggest apping for the Walmart card now.
You should keep the Cap1 for 1 or 2 years before closing it but a Walmart card you can keep for a lifetime.
The sooner you get it the better. You get a free TU FICO score every month after signing up for electronic bill pay.
I wont hurt my chances of getting care credit in a couple of months if I get all of these now? Is there such thing as having too much credit out, to where no one will approve you for that reason alone? lol
Seriously...I went from nothing to all of this in one month...I have no clue what to do with all of this. lol
Having the Walmart card should not change your approval odds with Care Credit in February. It might actually help because Care Credit is backed by GE. They will know that you pay your bills ontime because you will already have the Walmart/GE relationship in place.
got it ![]()
