No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
I will google them now.
I actually just was approved for a fingerhut card as well, $300 limit. So if I can get a secured then I will definitely garden for quite a while.
I tried CreditOne but nothing pops up for me.

Have you thought about also getting a secured card? Open Sky from Capital Bank is a easy approval and their rate is about 17% a far cry from First Premier and they do not report as a secured card. I have one because Capital One would not approve me for even a secured card either.
Yep, once on their website you will see pre-qualify just enter your information and and in about 60 seconds you'll know if your pre-qualified and no changes to your credit score
Yes time to garden, no more inquires lol. In a few months you should be well on your way. Wishing you the best! 😊

I know the fees are a bit high but I burned Cap1 in my BK and Credit One's pre-qualify tool isnt pulling any offers for me. Figured I could use the first premier card for a few months and keep it under 30% and in good standing and it should help my credit grow so that I can grow into some better cards....I hope this works!
I burned Cap One as well and they offered me 2 cards. First with a 1k SL & 2nd with a 3k SL. Dont rule them out once you develope some history. They are usually very BK Friendly.
Thanks for that bit of info regarding the 1-9 percent. It great to hear from the experienced members.

Congrats OP everyone has to start somewhere and some of us has to start with places like FingerHut but don't worry with so hard work you will be on your way to 700 fico in no time , I know the recommending UTI is 30 percent but to actually gain points you want to keep your balace at 1-9 percent to get the most affect on your scores . So I wouldn't carry no more than a 25 dollars balance on one card and let the other report zero. Doing this will give you some nice bumps . Good luck .
WHOA!
GREAT INFO! Never heard that before.
I was under the impression that I need some kinda utilization on each card in order to "prove credit worthiness".
Right now I have a 0 balance on a store card, about 9 dollars on the other, then I've got the 1st premier card on the way and the finger hut card on the way. So instead of spending a few bucks on each card monthly it's best to let a few of them stay at $0?

before or after the 1 year blacklist?
I will definitely keep trying their pre-qualify once I develop some history, nothing beats a try but a failure.
