I know a lot of people around here hate First Premier, but they've helped me step into better cards. As long as you pay in full each month, and ignore the yearly fee, it's an alright starter card. They initially set my CL at 300.00, so after 6 months decided to try for an increase. Rather than calling and requesting, I asked to have my account closed. Within a few minutes I was talking to the cancelation department, and was offered a free 200 dollar CLI. As you probably know, if you ask for an increase they charge you 25% of the increase. Figured I'd share for those with the FP card.
Congrats on your CLI, nice strategy ![]()
