I started with Discover as a secured card last August ($2500) and it graduated in March with a $1k bump to $3500. Over the last few months I have been requesting a CLI but kept getting denied due to "not enough time at current credit level" or something like that. Today I requested a CLI on the app and to my surprise I got the "under review" message with the phone number to call if I wanted to speak with somebody. I called and a super friendly rep approved me for a $1K increase up to $4500 instantly without any issue. I think the previous denials were due to the graduation CLI resetting my clock because that occured on March 14th and today would have been just over 90 days since then. Still on the credit rebuilding journey and sitting in the garden. Not sure what DPs would be useful here but my FICO scores have climbed about 30 points since my graduation CLI to around 685ish, no change to income (low 6 figures) or housing payment but I do have several new credit cards now open with a couple fairly large CLs (5 digits) since then.

theres a little trick with discover, based on your scores and credit history, once you get the card over say 7 or 8k, you can do the prequalify 2nd card usually get 2x limit of 1st card, i went from 1500 to 8k on card one and the 2nd card started like 14k, not even a good credit score either. keep on bumping every month reguardless
