Lol. If there is a market for recon specialists that would sound great. Honestly, finance and negotiating is fun. I was was unable to link the 2nd card to the amex account i created online for the first one. I'm waiting to get the cards, request CLIs on both and then have assistance to merge both cards on the one account. If I had to guess, they'd both be $1000 CL but we'll have to see. The plan is to get both of these cards to $25000 by August 2016. Then begin building

Also, I'm looking into buying a slightly used car and my debt to credit ratio would be under 30% by next August in addition to the next credit cards I intend to get and raise CLs on in the meantime. this may be outside the scope of this thread, but I intend on purchasing its small property and fixing it up then getting it reappraised for at least $10,000 for a next investment.

CONGRATS! You are a rule breakin' legend! Well, unwritten rule! You were able to use ONE inquiry for TWO credit cards with Amex. That is unheard of! Usually its only 1 charge card and 1 credit card.

You may be surpised at how valuable MR points can be. I have learned a lot since I got approved in May.
