Hello Everyone- I have always reviewed this forum for all information related to credit but today decided to create an account because I had the craziest thing happen.... While traveling with family the airline personel said if you fill out a credit card application you could get 60,000 bonus points. Being funny I filled out the application for the credit card but omitted my social security number----thinking maybe they would give me the points because I fly with them so much.....lol. So, I was quite amazed and dumfounded when I checked my email today and it said I had been approved for a Frontier Airline card with a SL of $6,000. Is it normal for banks to approve credit cards without social security numbers? Only information provided was name, address, birthdate, signature, etc.......
My current scores are EQ 658, Transunion 678, Experian 654.
Congrats on your Frontier Airline approval.
They can identify you without a SS # its like #6 for ways to ID someone. Grats on your new card ![]()

Thanks!
That’s terrific! Congratulations on your Frontier approval!! 👏🏼🎉🍾
Congrats on your Frontier Airline approval

@Anonymous Congrats! Just wondering, did you get a HP from any of the credit bureaus by any chance?
Just checked my Transunion and they did indeed pull my credit report. Again, I am still super shocked that they could match me to my credit report without a social security number. Truly a lesson learned.
Welcome and congrats on your approval!
