Gap visa

Since my scores are all in the mid 750s I decided to go for the gap Visa card . I have the store card with a 9000 limit( got the store card when scores were around 670) but I wanted the visa instead and with school shopping just around the corner, figured it was a good time . Instant approval . Said temp limit of 800. Account reported today and the limit is actually 1750 which was a nice surprise . Plan is to close the store gap card and build up the visa version .
Tran score was 754. No negatives or lates .

You can call Credit Solutions to request a CLI after, say, 3 months of payment history with the card. SYNCB-backed bankcards have tougher UW standards than the SYNCB-backed store cards.

First off, congrats on your approval.

But I have to ask, .... Why Gap Visa ??   With your scores !

Marvel has a much better rewards system and significantly lower APR tiers

Ebates for cash back joys

All you have to do is sign up for Gap emails and you get 40% off coupon codes every other day, no card needed. 

I closed my Gap account a few years ago. I dont miss the account, but the store card was purdy

Mean machine I do have marvel , and ebates!!
I had no idea about just signing up for emails and getting all the deals. We do a lot of shopping at gap and I collect a ton of reward dollars with the store card so I thought I could earn even more with the visa version . 🤗

Morgac I find close to fall and spring is the best time to shop GAp, I usually get killer deals! I just had over 100 In rewards I just redeemed on an online order. They were offering 40 percent off plus an extra 20 off select styles as well as 10 percent off if you are a cardholder . It adds up quick !
