Got Amazon Pre-Approval Email

Is there any advantages of me getting this card? (probably not)

I'm just curious cause I'm starting to see pre-approvals come in, but non-from what/who I want.

I shop Amazon sometimes but I really don't see an advantage for getting the card, especially since it's just a store/online card.

If you prime it's 5% off every purchase

Over a certain amount is 0% financing that is forever not just an intro agreement with big boy credit cards

There are threads all over the place where people get massive credit limit limit increase in the short amount of time

The bank the Amazon card uses also takes care of large amount of other store cards so if you acquire amazon then the history with it usually helps get approval and decent limits with others… lowes for example.

I also want to add that I have been denied 3 times for that stupid card it is becoming a white whale for me I have the chase version and pretty unhappy about that

Another thing Amazon does as a company is price match the heck out of most things you find online anywhere else so there is less need to apply for credit other stores if Amazon is going to price match with em

If you're a Prime member it's definitely worth getting IMO. Like the other poster stated, you get 5% back (statement credit) on purchases or they have special 0% financing offers all the time for 6, 12, and 24 months. I love my Amazon card! It's the only store card that I see myself keeping long term.

In my case i not have prime , i just use the financing option , is a good card and grow fast.

Great.. I got a $900 limit.... I hope this helps me shoe into Lowe's.. I really need a business account with them...

Congrats! My limit started at $900 last fall, and I'm at 5k now, so it does grow fast.

I tried requesting one when I was first approved and it was denied for not enough experience with current limit (lol). Then about 3 months later they gave me a $300 auto increase that took me to $1200. So I waited 4 months from the auto, asked again, and they increased it to $2800 (all of my requests to this point were done online). Then a month after that, I went on chat and asked for 5k and got it.

OK... Ill ask for an increase to the $900 and she Whay happens... Were they HP or SP?
