Got Discover auto CLI; can I also get an APR reduction?

I sent a secure message yesterday, and chated with agent who lowered it from 19.99% to 13.99%.

So I decided to try, and I messaged a CSR. She asked for more information about how I would use a lower APR and I said that although I don't carry a balance, I wanted it just in case, since I'm using the card so much more this quarter for the Amazon match. She came back with an offer of lowering the variable APR to 21.24 (from 22.99) or 0 interest for a year. I took the 0 interest, since the lower APR was barely more than 1 point. (Maybe Discover was nudging me toward the reason I said I wanted it, in the short term?) 

Anyway, it'll be nice for emergencies, since right now my Discover card is the 0 in my AZEO strategy (my only other card is a $12.5k Cap1). Thanks for the encouragement, everyone!

@Dirge, Congrats on your Discover CLI.

You can chat or call and ask for an APR reduction. I have been successful a few times with both my cards.

Edited: I seen that you took the 0% offer

As long as you are not a 0% offer, you can ask..... 

Getting a AutoCLI doesn't tend to affect eligibility for an APR reduction.
