Platinum
QS is more premium than Platinum by far. Platinum is a rebuilder card always.
Capital One generally only allows you to apply for one card every 6 months. I would call them about that offer before applying.
Platinum gives you no cash back, either, so if you already have 3 cards reporting, the Platinum card is next to useless. The only reason to get the Platinum AFTER the QS would be to merge CLs.
I was denied. Maybe wait 6 months

As expected, unfortunately.
Did they ding all 3 credit reports or did you luck out and they told you to wait 6 months between applications?

Thanks for clearing that up ABCD. I ll tell ya Cap One helps alot of people but seems too complicated for this average joe
Capital One is the most forgiving lender in history, period. They make a lot of money on "average joes" who run high balances at 24% interest that pays for their ability to take a risk with people who are less-than-average.
I'm not kidding you, I know a gal who BK'd capital one cards TWICE (I think 2-3 cards each time) and then burned them at third time with charge-offs and the last time I saw her, she had a new Capital One card. I can't imagine forgiving her 3 times, but they did it.
