May I suggest hiking, kayaking, fishing, golf, biking, tennis, racquetball, skiing and sex, all these should help you stay in the Garden......
Lol i do a few of those already yet at work i find time to get myself in trouble. A bit harder than that for me, but indeed does make sense.
Yep me too. Most of my apps where during work. I didn't like the weekends in case it wasn't an instant approval. I like Mondays and Tuesdays for apps.
Wow, thats a very good SL for HSBC, congrats ![]()

SOLID WIN @CreditCuriosity! You whopped me good with that SL ![]()
I was feeling good at $5k but you went from $0 to $10k and I hadn't even activated my card yet
Congrats! *jelly* lol

@credit_is_crack thanks lol.. Kinda funny how we each have higher SL with various lenders.. You kill me on some and well vice versa on other lenders lol. Just like I think GS really low balled me, but gave you an awesome 25k SL. Some things just dont make sense as we have pretty similar profiles from what i have seen and somewhat in the same income range if i recall correctly. Just proves you cant compare two profiles and way to many variables and lenders each have what they like/dislike about certain profiles.
Thanks to all the other congrats as well. My profile is an ever evolving thing that i have been working on since 2014 and will continued to be refined for the next several years. Gotta have some hobby and there certainly can be worse ones!
Shades of memories! Congrats on toughing it through to a card. Good starting CL as has been said, HSBC is conservative in the early days of a card relationship.
My memories include the Orchard Bank Cards and HSBC American Express Card with a $10K CL fixed rate 7.9% Apr and an HSBC Platinum Cash Back MC with 15.9% APR and a $7.5 CL. Both were to transition to Capital One but I got them closed before the transfer after I pleaded for HSBC to keep me (they had been very good to me). Enjoy your new found credit card.
