Saw it posted here that HSBC had a site (link) that one can use to pre-qualify. Thought I would just "check it out" and we all know what happened next. Put in my info, said I was pre-qualified for three of their cards, submitted the app and got the "7-10 days notice...". This afternoon (less than 24 hours) received this email with the approval. Don't know the SL yet.
I surely thought it would be a denial as 20+ new cards within the last 12 months are now reporting on my CR so apparently HSBC is not sensitive to new accounts. I took the card that will offer 3% cash back on up to $10,000 in the first 12 months so not a bad deal.

Congrats on yer HSBC approval & Nice SL![]()

Congratulations on your approval.
Be careful with their website, as it is not the best. Their customer service could be better compared to NFCU.
