So my Citi decline letter came today, and the ONLY thing they list as reason for denial is because:
"The consumer reporting agency serving your area (Experian) has reported only a limited credit history for you."
I only got this type of letter when I couldn't generate a FICO score. Is it possible Citi has a longer minimum credit history requirement than Chase? How should I go about trying to recon this (if it's even worth the effort?)
It's always worth a shot calling. You already took the HP! The worst they can say is no.

What one is it? The EO?
Agreed, 14Fiesta. You took the hard pull, blow that recon line out of the water until you are sleep deprived and they accept, lol.
MY TURN TO HELP YOU NOW!
I believe you have had each of your three cards there in your siggy for quite some time (not including that BB card you recently got!) If I were you, I'd pretty much explain how your Experian report may show a limited history, yet you've had --such and such-- cards for xx months/years, which you responsibly keep your utilization low and use your credit wisely as you are a big member of the myFICO forums" (trust me, creditors know this website).
This would be up to you, but I'd speak up and recommend they could maybe help you with another chance at pulling a different bureau. Check with your report and see what bureau you have the highest score in and the most history reported. Also take in consideration and find out which credit bureau they pulled whenever you applied for the BB card, which I am assuming was your Transunion? As you know, they see new inquiries as a risk sometimes.
Please update me again a little more on your AAoA and inquiry list.

Okay. So I just called the recon line. Got a very nice lady who took my number and said she would call back after she looks into it for me. She said it might take up to three days. *crosses fingers*

Good luck with that.
