So yesterday night I was looking around and decided to which conpanies would prequal me. The first one I tried was Home Depot after I clicked the continue button so they can check. I thought I was about to see you arent pre approved message. However the pre approved me so I just kind of was like is this a mistake. I clicked apply I am re doing my floor in my basement so this would be nice to have along side my Lowes card. I filled everything out clicked apply and it told me to call in. Code 26. I remebered before I even called my report is frozen! They kept me on hold eventually I hung up today I unfoze my report and called them back asked for $800. The woman helping my credit and sent me a text for verifaction and then I heard the words! "You are approved for a Home Depot Card with a $1000 limit" I was cheering in my head. As of right now about 4 hours after the call I have yet to see any hp. I don't know if this helped but I did get a Citi Diamond Secured MC. Citi Retail also gave me a CLI on my Bloomingdales to $3000 a few days ago. That Citi Secured really might have opened the door for me. Or it is just my credit getting better I hope its that.
