I don't understand synchrony

I have received instant approval and "ok" starting limits everytime I have applied with synchrony but everytime I request an increase (button, chat, phone) it has been an absolute no. Just 2 days ago after checking that my Amazon payment posted I requested an increase via the button and got my usual no. Logged on today because I was going to close the account and noticed I was auto increased from $1100 to $1600. Any ideas what triggered it? I would like to increase Walmart (1100) and lowes (1300)

I know!! Ive been trying to request a CLI from both walmart and amazon and was always told no. I called backdoor numbers and tried chat. Always a no. A few days ago i told myself ill give it a week for a new statement. I checked last nite and got an increase from 150 to 1100 for walmart, and from 400 to 900 for amazon. Synchrony is a mystery.

There is no rhyme or reason, they either like you or they dont, grats on your auto CLI

I have recieved CLIs immediately following automated CLI denials on my PayPal Extras MC in the past. I have to say that GECRB has been good to me on that card with CLIs. It has grown quickly for me and always keeps pace with my other limits.

and... Yes I know they aren't GECRB anymore, but I simply can't accept that they actually named themselves symphany or whatever it is.
