Hey everyone,
So I use PayPal a lot, including Pay in 4 and up until today my pre-qualification limit for the Pay in 4 has been around $400. Again I am new to building my credit since mid September.
Anyways I checked today and my pre-qualification amount for Pay in 4 with PayPal is now $1500 which is the max!! That must mean I am doing well with my credit cards and using PayPal responsibly right?
So then since I use PayPal a lot and the Pay in 4 went to $1500, I saw this PayPal credit offer to apply on my PayPal account. I looked into it and it seemed good for me but I was also nervous because I didn't want a denial.
I decided to go for it and got approved for a $1200 limit!! I mean I know maybe it's not a huge amount but I'm happy I got approved and I know I'll be using it responsibly.
Baby steps for me, I just feel happy because a hard credit pull was done on TransUnion and PayPal thought enough of my credit profile to approve me. Not only approve me but not give me some paltry $250 or $500 limit. $1200 for me right now seems like so much lol.
Anyone else have experience with PayPal Pay in 4 or PayPal Credit? Should I have done it?
Thx to all!!
Congrats!
Building a healthy credit profile is definitely a long game, but I remember that first limit over $1k myself and it's an amazing feeling.
Keep using it responsibly, PIF whenever possible, and that line will grow and open up new doors for you.
Stay disciplined!

Appreciate that a lot. I wonder if my approval has more to do with me using PayPal all the time rather than my credit score lol but I'll take it.

Even tho I am not a fan of Sync, PPC is one of my fav and most used accounts for the no-interest option.
I love the Pay in 4 option too!
