I'm an AMEX member!

I'm quite excited about this, after only a year and a half of building my credit, with an AAoA of just over 1 year, I've managed to get approved for not only 1 but 2 AMEX cards. Now the story. I have wanted to become an AMEx member since before I was approved for my first CC. I have tried but had no success. So I stooped down, and figured I would try and get my foot in the door by app'ing for a green card, and 2 days after my application *not immediately* I WAS APPROVED. Not the card I wanted, but it was a start. I then figured why not apply for another one, and App'd for the standard Blue card, and I called a rep 2 days after I app'd and was approved again! SL of 1K. This had me a little upset for two reasons, first because I had gotten a card with an annual fee, second because I found out from a rep that I could change my card over to a blue cash everyday or preferred without another app, but would have to wait some time *but he said hed see what he could do about changing it*. I told him to wait until I got the card. So not exactly the way I wanted to start, but Im excited to now be a part of the Amex club!

Congrats !! same here. Just approved a few minutes ago. PRG and ED for 2K. Just happy to be part of the amex fam
